The Pharoah's Tomb

Whatever happened to...

This started out as a simple way to keep track amongst ourselves of what happened to around 30 employees when Rolls-Royce decided they were dispensable and closed the Newcastle office of Industrial Power systems.

The original intentions of this section have been diluted with the inclusion of names from other NEI /R-R trading companies,  but at the same time it's opened it up to a bigger audience.  Now, as I move around companies, I've started to add 'outsiders' to the NEI / R-R names.

I'm also trying to keep a list of contact details for people and, so as not to broadcast your details to every spammer on the web, I've kept them off-line.  If you want to get in touch with someone E-mail me and I'll forward your interest to the required party.

If you have any information, stories, better (worse!) photographs etc. regarding the whereabouts of current or past employees, or simply wish to have you details removed from this web site please E-mail me.

Don't forget that a small handful of us meet up once a month (except December) for beer & banter.  It's at the Bridge Hotel, Newcastle, last Wednesday of the month, around 8pm.  New faces always welcome.  There's also a Christmas reunion for the Nuclear Systems team held in the Bridge Hotel.  It's usually between Christmas & New Year, always at a lunchtime (2005 meeting was held on Tuesday 27th December from Noon - pity the bar didn't open till 5pm!).   Once again, all welcome.  Note that the NEI Projects Electrical lads also have a Christmas gathering, usually at the same time/venue.

Employees past & present are from the following companies:-
