Simon was a Trainee Mechanical Engineer with RR-IPS in Newcastle and was made redundant at the end of January 2000. He commenced with Alstom in February 2000. He is currently completing a degree course at Newcastle University. He finally made an honest woman out of Helen in June 2001.
