Ian was a Mechanical Draughtsman before leaving R-R.  Spent some time working on site with John McLaughlin for Bechtel.  After a couple of changes of employer he's now back (this time contracting) at Parsons E & C as Pipe Stress Lead Engineer.  Now married to Clair, they have a 3 & 1/2 year old daughter, Katie May.  Lives in Surbiton but will never lose his Geordie roots, still going to the Toon matches whenever their in his neck of the woods.
