You want to find out what songs made it to number one? - That's easy.

You're looking for those songs that didn't quite make it - Getting tougher.

What about those that could only manage as high as third place - Near impossible.

Chart listings are becoming difficult to find because 'The Official UK Charts Company' has been getting heavy handed, asking people to remove chart listings.

Hopefully, I'll get round that by presenting the data in a non-weekly format.  Still got some work to do on the chart dates.

Note:- A song that achieve a top 3 position, drops down the chart, then re-enters to the same previously held position is denoted by an 'R' after the reference number.  If a song peaks at number 2 or 3, drops down the chart, then re-enters to a higher position than previously achieved will be recorded in listings for it's highest position.  A song which is re-issued (after previously achieving a top 3 slot) and again reaches the top 3 is allocated a different reference number (in line with standard practice).
